Excelite Polycarbonate Roofing Screws provide a secure and reliable fix for polycarbonate roofing sheets, suitable for both metal and timber frames.

Allow approximately 9 screws per m². Available in 50mm and 65mm lengths, in packs of 50 or 150.

Suits corrugated polycarbonate, Greca, Trimdek, Beehive, and all corrugated polycarbonate roofing profiles. Not suitable for flat polycarbonate roofing sheets.

Installation Instructions

1. Place the drill tip on the crest of the corrugated polycarbonate sheet. Using low RPM, apply quick tapping pressure until the drill point pierces the sheet and contacts the timber underneath.
   
2. Continue drilling into the timber as you would with a standard Type 17 or TEK screw. The circular cutter will create a clean expansion hole in the sheet.
   
3. Stop drilling once the domed EPDM washer sits snugly on the corrugation, forming a weatherproof seal.
   
   

Complete Your Installation

Roofing screws work best as part of a complete installation system. You may also need:

• Purlin / anti-noise tape — reduces expansion noise between sheets and battens
• Polycarbonate sealing / breather tape — seals sheet edges and keeps flutes clean
• End closures (U-profile) — seals sheet ends against dust and insects
• Aluminium H-joiners or polycarbonate H-joiners — for connecting sheets
