The flat polycarbonate roofing sheets and twin wall polycarbonate sheets simply place on the H-Bar ready for fixing to the existing structure. The glazing bar system allows for thermal expansion and avoid penetrations through the sheet.

How does Excelite Aluminium H joiners work?

• Slide the rubber gaskets into the aluminium H joiner. Each length of aluminium H joiner requires four rubber strips: left, right, top, and bottom. Ensure the rubber lips face outward.
• Fix the base section of the aluminium H joiner directly onto the roof purlins or rafters.
• Position the polycarbonate sheets and leave an expansion gap of approximately 3mm on each side.
• Clip the top cap onto the base section and secure it with screws, ensuring the polycarbonate sheets remain centred and the expansion gaps are maintained.

Can I install polycarbonate roofing without H joiners?
