We recommend circular saw with track to cut polycarbonate sheet, Multi-purpose blade at 60 teeth. Polycarbonate sheets also can be cut with jigsaw. A circular saw is the best tool for cutting larger size polycarbonate. Thanks to the properties of this material, polycarbonate won't crack or splinter around the cut. Grinder will make the edge a little burned.

Rafter Space for polycarbonate roofing locking system?

 You need a minimum of a 5 degree fall for your roofing, this ensures adequate water runoff to the gutter. 4mm Polycarbonate locking system with comes in 600mm, your rafter space just make exactly the same. And no need cross way beams. But if you choose 2mm thickness, it’s 800mm width, then you need 600-750mm cross way beams.
